The Challenge

The SQL Bottleneck: Data-driven decisions are often delayed because managers must wait for specialized data analysts to write and execute queries. Information Silos: Critical business data stored in Postgres or MySQL is often inaccessible to the team members who need it most during field operations. Interface Friction: Switching between communication tools like Slack and database management software breaks workflow and reduces productivity.

My Solution

We developed a robust AI middleware that translates natural language into precise, optimized SQL queries in real time. Using a model-agnostic framework, businesses can choose OpenAI, Anthropic, or local models to interact directly with Postgres, MySQL, or SQLite. The system follows a Security-First design: read-only access scoped to approved tables and conversation history for follow-up analysis. Through WhatsApp, Slack, or web chat, users generate instant reports, check inventory, or analyze sales without writing SQL.

Results

Implementation reduced internal data request tickets by 70%, cutting decision lead time from days to seconds. Deployments on Slack and MS Teams increased employee engagement with company data by 3× as insights became part of daily conversations.
